Raw liver isn’t healthy
-
I talked about this in my TikTok but people were to grey or dnrs to argue back properly
You’ll get Vitamin A (retinol) toxicity (yes you can still get this from natural vitamin sources it’s proven) the following are the side effects:
Headaches
Nausea
Joint pain damage (extreme cases)
Hyper vitaminosisIt’s high in dietary cholesterol
For most healthy people this isn’t an issue but for people who already have it will have the following side effects:
High LDL cholesterol
Heart disease risk
Certain metabolic conditions
And they will be advised against organsIt contains high levels of purines, which break down into uric acid.
If someone has gout, can trigger flare ups.
Vitamin A is fat soluble meaning it gets stored in your instead of being excreted in urine
A major review published in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition explains that fat soluble vitamins accumulate because the body has limited mechanisms to eliminate ThemI have one more point but I wanna see if anyone can argue me wrong because liver isn’t supposed to be a super food

@primitive-mint Nobody is promoting eating a whole beef liver every single day. it’s meant to be consumed in small, regular amounts, like a multivitamin. Only way to get Vitamin A toxicity is through either taking massive amounts of synthetic supplements or eating a whole polar bear liver for a long period of time
Also, you obviously have no idea what you are talking about nigga. You're calling LDL "cholesterol," when LDL isn't even cholesterol It's just a carrier molecule that transports lipids through your bloodstream retard.
You sound like an idiot nigga go educate yourself.

@Rabbi they got it from a diet which consisted primarily of vitamin A and it was a natural source
-
@XqurZz Nigga you just agreed with me
you literally said eat small amounts That’s because too much liver can cause problems and no retinol toxicity isn’t only from supplements or polar bear liver that’s just the most famous case natural vitamin A toxicity is a real thing Also I know LDL is a lipoprotein that carries cholesterol I shortened it for you idiots stop acting like that’s some crazy thing and I can’t send studies your lucky -

First off, no im not agreeing with you your topic title is "Raw liver isn't healthy" Which is factually inaccurate nobody is disputing that Vitamin A toxicity is real or that fat-soluble vitamins build up in the body over time. The issue is that You are calling Liver unhealthy.
Toxicity comes from excessive, continuous overconsumption. Eating a standard a 12 oz serving of liver once a week gives you beneficial nutrients without coming anywhere near toxic levels. Do you think that pointing out that eating massive amounts every single day causes hypervitaminosis is some kind of mic-drop argument against liver? eating too much of almost anything causes health issues.
Also you can’t fault people for calling out your basic elementry terminology mistakes. in health science precision matters calling LDL a cholestrol is misleading and telling of where you get your evidence from. LDL is a transport molecule, not cholesterol itself, and how dietary cholesterol impacts blood lipids varies completely based on individual genetics and metabolic health.
Calling a food a "superfood" just means it is extremely nutrient-dense per calorie, which liver undeniably is. It contains massive amounts of B12, iron, riboflavin, Vitamin A, the list goes on. A food doesn't lose its nutritional density just because you shouldn't eat a pound of it every day. also You can send me study idiot nothing is stopping you
You sound like an idiot nigga go educate yourself.

Those AI scans are not that accurate tho.@Hunterskull It's so obviously AI tho. Read his post history. Its so obvious he jus slapped on "wow ur fucking retarded" in the front, pasted some AI bullshit with formal language that is in stark contrast from what he wrote a couple lines ago in the middle, and finishes it with "go educate yourself". the irony.

@primalspirit
Yeah its a dumb decision when u try to convince someone to your viewpoint that you say these lines like "educate urself retard" because it will lessen your chance of actually convincing that person. -

@Userrrr
Raw liver is so dense in nutrients. Even more than in muscle meat. And I never heard someone get "vitamin A poisoning". And there are not even downsides of fat soluble vitamins getting stored in your body. In the contrary even: fat soluble vitamins are very good for you.
