@Elliott87 Interesting, do you have any photo examples of anyone on primal that are "obese" with a lean face?
Also, would your testosterone be higher or lower being "obese" on primal compared to being lean on primal. I think this is important and i doubt it has been tested.
-
@Jay Yes, aajonus
not sure his weight here but I believe 80kg+ since it is post injection. I sent u one in the other thread where he is definitely “obese” as per medical definition -
@elliott87

Aajonus Doesn't have a lean face here.. somethings not adding up -

I also wanted to ask @elliott87 or someone else I read that vegetable juices increase apetite. How is your personal experience with that?
-
I wonder why Primal folk promote getting to a higher Body Fat just because Aajonus says so
I mean men generally have higher testosterone at 12% compared 15% and 15% has wayyy more test than someone at 25%. so evolutionary speaking wouldn't it be seen as a net positive for men to always have higher testosterone?
Women also are more attracted to men who have a leaner face, so they would want to breed with the more good looking male to continue the species as good looking men subconsciously have great genetics. (oversimplified).
Lastly, I can imagine how an Aajonus Vonderplanitz approved Body would be seen as obese, slow & terrible stamina for hunting through the lens of tribes.
Thoughts?

I dont really know if you should get obese, as that term can vary by some standards. Some people use BMI, others use bodyfat % and even then it can change. For example you will find folks claiming 25%+ bodyfat is obese, others will say 30%+. Anyhow, the reason for putting on fat on this diet is simply that it helps with the detox. I will explain down below.Detox is short for detoxification, which is when your body is getting rid of toxins. As you will know toxins are stored in the fat. This is exactly why raw butter is so important on the diet. On top of it being so nutrisous, and so dense in energy, the most overlooked aspect of it is that its a fat source without toxins. Bone marrow and other animal fats are extremly nutrisous aswell, but thats where the toxins are stored, so you risk getting sick if you eat them unless they are cooked or your body is well adapted. Just like animals store toxins in their fat, we humans store toxins in our fat, so the more fat you carry on you, the better your body can handle the detoxification and just be more secure in general.
One more thing I want to add, again I will assume that you are still developing just like me and hopefully working out aswell. In that case, take this opportunity to put on some fat, not to the point where it destroys your hormones, but enough so that you can go on a generational bulk, gain a lot of muscle, and handle the detox well.
Detoxing and building a great physique both take years to complete. So say you build a lot of muscle, and the detox is approaching its end as your body is getting more adapted to the diet, that should be the time to cut down a bit on the bodyfat. That way you will have spent say 4-5 years extremely productively from a physical perspective, and hit two birds with one stone. That is what I would call a proper body transformation. -

It’s the same reason people who eat seed oils can’t lose weight bc their body doesn’t want to toxins to be released or at least not quickly.

@Liverlover the fat escorts the toxins out, but it’s not very efficient and that’s why cheese trains are groundbreaking
-
@Elliott87 Yea but do you want to be at 30%? thats the question
I mean have you seen Roms physique? he looks like a legit 30% and he's been on the primal diet for 8 years!

-
@Elliott87 Yeah man i get ya, but i just don't believe he's happy at that weight but more important whether he actually wants to look like that (body image)
I guess that's just my personal incredulity fallacy & it's not really based on the face that his physique can store more toxins than ours.
