I think you make some fair and good points here. Anyone who blindly assumes someone is correct aboout everything they say isn't strong-minded enough to think for themselves.
I do however want to say that there are other factors outside your diet which contribute to your health which could be reasonings for aajonus' diet to 'not work.' You also said the "pain formula is mostly placebo," but then continued to say "eating good long term will (reduce pain)." this is a little contradictory. Aajonus' recipes main goal is to provide your body with healthy nutrients, fats, starches, etc to help detoxify your body and overall be a net positive on your health. How can his recipes be placebo if we all agree his recipes are healthy. I'm not saying theres no placebo aspect to it, but to say it's completely placebo, aka it doesnt help is silly.
I also see the argument "eat what your body craves," all the time. I agree our bodies are extremely advanced and do generally know what to eat when we need it, it's how pregnancy cravings generally work. But to say that means we should never eat anything other than what our body craves isn't right. Formulas like the nut formula were created by Aajonus to use in specific situations to help our bodies out a little. Theres reasons for using it other than getting nutrients, to say it's not good because there are some PUFAs isn't a valid argument. Chicken has PUFAs, pork has PUFAs, beef has PUFAs, are these now unhealthy too? Aajonus' claims on his different formulas are based on his knowledge of how to human body works and how these raw nutrients, fats, starches, react inside the human body. He has done studies, experiments, as well as helping thousands of people to get healthy, there is no denying that.
I agree people worshipping him is a bit silly but no is absolutely nothing wrong with obsessing over his work, his ideas, etc. It's how people gain knowledge.
