Tbh idk why supermarket raw meat and eggs get so much hate, ive been enjoying them raw for half a year now and i feel great. I am in sweden so perhaps the quality is better than in Usa for example. It also has more bacteria which is obv good

Sweden doesnt use vaccines or antibiotic drugs on their animals. + Meat in popular markets like ICA and Hemköp have fairly good quality suppliers. Its worse in other countries tho.
@kopfs I wasnt aware of that, thanks for the info. Does Willys also have good meat suppliers? Because pork from there tastes the best.
-
Not sure about Willys. Where in Sweden do you live? I have plenty good farmer sources. But Ica and Hemköp are good. The best is probably City gross as they are the only supermarket to butcher and package all their stuff directly in the store wich sounds like a huge bonus to me.
-
Ahhh yes City gross is great i love it. I live in Vårgårda.

Yeah, swedish meat is decent quality. The beef I can buy whatever brand, as long as it's swedish or certain Irish brands. The chicken or pork I will always buy organic cause I've gotten diarrhea a few times from the shitty fatty pork and I'm worried about what they do with the chickens also. Lean meat you could buy shitty (any) cause it doesn't really have toxins but that's if ur on a budget or whatever.

@kopfs Is supermarket raw meat good in the Netherlands or do i need to go to a local butcher?
@Hunterskull EU has strict hygiene standards but it's still usually older (packaged days earlier) and is trimmed more aggressively. Personally I prefer buying from the butcher always because the meat is fresh and high quality but I do eat supermarket meat every now and then if it's the only meat available for me
