How do I convince my mum and dad vegetables aren't healthy I haven't started any particular diet yet but to start I would like to go pretty much animal based with some cooked food then when my parents see how much my health has improved I go onto the primal diet. the thing is they are brainwashed. My ma suspected me of a eating disorder and threatened to put me into councelling because I told her proccessed food was unhealthy and we should cut it out she said she didn't have the the time nor the money to go whole foods when I told my dad about aajonus he seemed sceptical. Maybe I could go animal based but I have no idea how to say that vegetables are unhealthy. Everytime my ma brings it up she claims I watch untrue influenital videos online please help me.

@ramus they're old. You cannot change their mind ever. Stop treating them as an equal as though they are your peer to be debated with. Just tell them you love them and don't eat the vegetables
@RuskinPrimal I simply do not want to be put into counselling I know it's silly but I'm very insecure on how others view me especcialy family, school starts soon anyway so it's just torture for another year then I'll fix my health and stop being so spineless.

@ramus it's not silly. We all care about how our family thinks of us. When it comes to this diet though you just have to step back and lead by example. Don't waste your breath explaining. They have been taught their whole life that if they eat raw meat they will likely get seriously sick. My parents are convinced I am literally going to die.
