Don't be scared of cheap meat!

Meat being cheap doesn't rely much on the quality of the meat. It is because of mainstream opinion.
I will give you 2 examples.

    Beef Shanks:

I noticed that beef shanks are very cheap compared to other muscle meats. But there are no added health risks. It's cheap because beef shanks are tough, full of sinew and connective tissue. The mainstream wants soft meat that they can later cook to death.

    Chicken Hearts:

Chicken hearts are cheap, because the mainstream finds the idea of eating hearts repulsive. They say they are "bloody", which we primals know is obviously good.

Both of these are excellent foods
They have nutrient-dense muscle (heart is pure muscle) and also collagen-rich tissue.

So its nothing related to health, but rather basic supply and demand driven by the opinion of the mainstream.

@Ozanq1 Only freezing already destroys 80% of all its nutrients.

It doesn't matter too much the bacteria are still there in the same amounts as unfrozen and nutrients aren't meaningfully damaged

Well if you didn't know food (actual food) cannot expire and only ferment if it's not contaminated. To slow down fermentation just put the meat in the fridge and then take it out and let it get to room temp before eating. Make sure your fridge isn't too cold. If u live with ur parents or something then it's not the end of the world tho. I recommend you make some high meat.

@juz I know freezing it once destroys many good qualities of fresh meat , but i find it very hard to believe aajnous's claims of 80 percent being destroyed , If i eat meat that is frozen only once and thawed , (that too not extreme freezing only a little bit) , How much would i be feeling different or consuming different compared to someone who eats fresh never frozen . In your practical life what has been your experience of eating such once frozen meat . Please tell.

@Avishai most of the time animal meats and organs that are sold for dogs are very very low quality, i definitely wouldnt try it (especially if it’s freeze dried/frozen) Local butchers are definitely the way to go if you want raw animal products that are actually good quality
