This isnt a question for what I myself should choose: I have access to raw unsalted cheese so I will obviously buy that.

I'd like to hear your opinion on why you voted for what you voted.

"Doctors" don't know anything about nutrition and diet. Don't listen to them. Enjoy consuming raw!!!

Not even worth eating pasteurized cheese. It's survival food at best.

Enjoy the raw milk and get healthy!

neither, but i think it also depends on the amount of salt added in the unpasteurized cheese

@zygomidus I myself would think the raw salted cheese is worse, because you put salt, which is highly toxic, on the cheese. Same with like salt cured meat. Although the technique of salt-drying meat is different to cheese, it also destroys nutrients just like heating.

@Hunterskull depends how much its salted tho. But it would be very challenging to eat a lot of salty cheese in a sitting.

@Hunterskull Explain why you think salt is highly toxic and would provide worse health outcomes? It dissolves into sodium and chlorine ions in water. The water pulls them apart. These are just minerals, the same ones that are in beef. These are additional nutrients and electrolytes.

                  Enjoy the raw milk

99% of cheese that says raw milk or unpasteurized milk is heated to 158ºf or around that. If cheese is heated above 104ºf its no longer truly raw but FDA lets you go up to 161ºf. If it says never heated above 104ºf or never heated or unheated then get that but otherwise just dont get anything at all theres no point in it regardless unless its raw and unsalted so get neither

Salt is inorganic rock, not food. Plants "eat" rocks and they convert minerals into bioavailable nutrients. Humans do not do that. We only properly digest and utilize minerals that are already part of raw animal tissue.
When you eat sodium chloride, water and digestion separate the sodium from the chloride. Sodium on its own is highly reactive and explosive. Because of that, one or a few grains kill many red blood cells. The body then spends hours replacing the cells and a full day clearing the debris while leaching other nutrients in the process.

@Elliott87 Yeah, when it dissociates, then the sodium on its own will provide worse health outcomes.
