Bleaching your hair with lemons and combining it with the sun damages your hair. The acids make your hair drier and it makes the hair less resistant to UV. Usage of lemons in your hair does not only oxidize the melanin. It also oxidizes natural fats and keratin proteins, which weakens the hair stucture.

What you really should use for hair bleaching is animal fats and raw butter. Combine it with the UV from the sun and you'll get great results without damaged hair.
