Sensitive Tastebuds 😡
-
One of the most annoying things on the Primal Diet
is having really sensitive tastebuds. So I bought 2 exotic raw honeys which consisted of Avocado honey and Orange Blossom honey both tasted awful. Avocado honey tasted like straight Sucuk (traditional sausage popular in the Balkans) and Orange Blossom has a goofy unexplainable taste, which tastes nothing like fruit, used it in a milkshake (raw eggs, raw milk, orange blossom honey) and it tasted straight buns it was really torturing to drink this so I just dumped 2/5 of it into the toilet.
So if you've been on the Diet for quite some time and avoid seasoning your food, the only honeys that you most likely WILL be eating are mild tasting honeys with no aftertaste like Blossom honey, spring blossom honey, acacia Honey, etc. But I did like the Yucatan honey that I bought recently which is more fruity but not too strong, 10/10 honey, I recommend it If you wanna explore the universal honey tastes.
Bitter honeys are most likely an absolute No Go if you have sensitive tastebuds and you will just be wasting your money on it.

Not actually a problem. The tastebuds actually start working and tell you what is toxic and what is not.

@organharvesting Yes, my nose and tastebuds also recognised an onion smell in my raw milk which my family didnt notice, but thats not true that if you dont like it, it is always toxic. Nothing about natural bitter honey is toxic, it just stems from a different blossom.
