@Rabbi Yeah obviously live in the moment and don’t think about the past or future. But it’s wise to plan for the future. I think thinking I might die any moment isn’t a good way to live in the moment.

@ru Realizing you are going to die and can die any moment (rawprimal ofc makes it much much harder but still) snaps you back to reality or the now as you fear the future (death) and the past becomes meaningless.

But yes ofc I think you are responsible human so good thing for you as you are thinking about your future and trying to live in the moment!

@Jay yes can deffo be extremely expensive especially for a family, for my first house I plan on buying attached land with it, I’ll get a cow, chickens and some fruit trees, I think this is the smartest way to live as when you slaughter the cow you get like 6 months of meat, constant milk, eggs etc

Just wanted opinions on this because I feel great on primal, but i cant help think for anyone between the ages of 14-30 this is easy to do because we do not have a family yet. No REAL responsibility's. Let's say by some miracle you convince your future partner to go primal, you then would have to have a substantial amount of money for you & your multiple children

Example: I'm already spending roughly £18 ($24) a day for myself. Granted, this is mostly great cuts of meat, oysters, raw milk. I cant help but think this would quadruple at least for a family of just 4 (which is a small family) so £72 a day or (96$).

Yes, maybe the prices are somewhat exaggerated. But you get my point all the same. Sometimes i sigh and feel as though it's a cope as I cant think of one example of someone with a large or semi large family eating primal.

I Guess we could actually match the price of foods with a great career & become a slave.. never having time to see your children.. man call me a doomer, but i feel like this is something valid i'm bringing up that i have yet to see or the forum.

            Thoughts?

@Jay 72$ per day for a family of 4 🤯😳 financially devestating. Dude i cannot imagine paying so much for 4 people while other people pay that for just themsleves.

Move to Asia (or anywhere else), get a wife. Get a cow, and/or a goat. As you have children, get more animals and live of the land completely away from society and in peace. Remember the purpose of eating like this, its to energize and charge our energy so we can output them in doing things that bring resources to us. Find a way to fund your future through work that you love. Yes, its slavery in a sense but you can define it.

@Kasen easier said then done. Anyone can imagine a plan on paper like you have done but putting it to practice is MUCH harder. Most people need an inheritance or to save for a decade to have the motivation to attempt this

@Jay tbh its not as hard as it looks. Just need money, which is why I think its worth pursuing something that can generate some kind of income and the most important thing is that you enjoy that thing which will allow you to keep doing and keep generating income. This is pretty much my plan so imma keep plotting on it for now and see where I end up. I'm def looking forward to starting a family on this way of eating so I can see the development and beneficial effects firsthand. So, it's worth it to me to put in the time and dedication.

There's a state registry for road kill. The police call you when there's a fresh deer that got hit. Then boom you get all that fresh never frozen meat for free. Just gotta pay a butcher.
