I got eggs from another farm today and those eggs aren’t orange they’re yellow and kind of small but the yolk itself doesn’t leak easily

    what quality are they?

The yolk color is just dependent on what the farmer feeds their chickens..

i did, what I’m asking is if a chicken is healthy does the colour have to be orange or is it just depending on how they feed the chicken?

@merib301 I would say the quality of the membranes is more important than the yolk color. A yolk could be deep orange because the chickens are supplemented turmeric or another food that dyes the yolk. You can't fraud a sturdy, robust egg. If you crack it and put it in the palm of your hand, the whites should be thick enough to not seep right through your fingers. Also if the yolk sits higher that's good.

                  Enjoy the raw milk
