How to deal with a Deviated Septum until I can get surgery

I have a deviated septum with a lot of trouble breathing most the time, I get tons of mucus and sinus infections from dairy and can’t get surgery yet does anyone know how I can help cope with this

i saw someone with a deviated septum crack their bone to the deviated side, like a strong flick and said it helps them breath
