Is it ever better to cook your meat? Revisited@Jack well do you really think cooking it is going to change that? You might get less symptoms because your body doesn't know how to detox it and there's less bacteria, but it's better for you to ingest it and get "sick" than to eat it and have the toxins sitting inside of you
-
Is it ever better to cook your meat? Revisited@Jack Yea that is another thing to consider. More collagenous cuts of meat were probably the only part of an animal that was cooked. Your body has difficulty digesting raw collagen because of the structure of it.

Finally abit of sun in england@veloman no such thing as sun in england lmao

Is it ever better to cook your meat? RevisitedShould you ever cook meat?
-
It's a topic that is often up for debate. Many primal dieters online argue that if the beef is bad quality, you should always cook it so that you 'neutralize the toxins'.
-
This has not been substantiated. With the exceptions of antibiotics, the toxins in meat cannot be denatured by heat.
-
Heavy metals and other toxic injections won't be affected by cooking it. Keep in mind that when you cook it, you actually add toxins like AGEs and heterocyclic amines.
-
So, all that you are doing when cooking it is making the meat more toxic.
Another thing to consider
-
Many of the toxins that burden us are fat-soluble.
-
According to Aajonus, raw fats and cooked fats behave entirely differently in the body. The way you are supposed to digest fats is selective. If a raw fat has a toxin bound to it, the body will not absorb it. It will simply be passed through the digestive system, and you will likely have diarrhea.
-
This is observed in Aajonus' experiment with swordfish. He fed one group of animals raw swordfish and another cooked swordfish. The group that ate cooked swordfish absorbed roughly 98% of the mercury. The group that ate raw swordfish absorbed just 2%
-
With cooked fats, the body simply doesn't know what to do with it and typically ends up absorbing it.

How long do dark under eye circles take to dissipate@naturecel It will definitely help your discoloration, especially if you go out in the sun. Part of the cause of dark eye circles is from a recessed infraorbital bone, and that's much trickier to fix outside of developing years.
-
DeodorantIf you follow a proper diet you should notice that you don't typically stink. I would say that the least harmful one is native, but I wouldn't really trust any products. Maybe coconut oil isn't terrible for making you stink less?

This looks good

The only cure to depressionNothing makes you feel more human than this. I shucked and ate 5 oysters too. Pure, dense, bioavailable nutrients. Circadian entrainment and grounding
Very grateful that the snow has receded and the sun is out again

-
I would like to add a helpful way to phrase the root causes of disease specifically.
The root causes of disease are:
Deficiencies
A deficiency is a lack of what is natural, whether that is a nutrient (Molecules necessary for human life) or a crucial piece of a human's environment that is not present (Going outside and entraining your circadian rhythm, getting sun, grounding).
Toxicity
Something that is toxic is either a synthetic substance or something that is natural but out of balance
I have yet to determine anything that causes disease without these things being the root of them.

Advice for maximum development while growing@Destan Spam raw milk and eat a decent amount of liver. You should do as much schoolwork as you feel like. If you feel that you don't want to do something, simply don't do it. You are free and have control over what you do. Unless you are under control by man-made goals that make you feel empty. Happiness comes from your freedom.

What do you think about vegetable juice?@Rabbi Any cases where you're treating toxicity in particular Aajonus recommended juicing. So that's mostly for people who've had vaccines or bad toxin exposure. I don't know exactly how useful it is though.
-
What do you think about vegetable juice? The vegetable juice doesn't really act as sustenance but instead as a tool to alkalinize the blood which he says is useful. The toxins in celery are seemingly minimal and that's what most of it is.

Has anyone here noticed a change in their eye color? If yes was it major or minor?I think I saw some noticable changes in this guy's eyes on the channel primal diet student but I think he took down his videos. I am skeptical on eye color progress though as I haven't exactly seen an abundance of proof

What are the best fruits?@Mishutka_47 yea, so for context, our mitochondria needs electrons to work and these electrons can leak because of oxidative stress or a few other things. Grounding is basically free electrons from the earth. This can improve your metabolism because it combats oxidative stress. This is one of many mechanisms by which grounding helps your body. It's very evident that humans were very often grounded and are meant to be so.
-
Linoleic acid in grain-fed pork@Jack I didn't think about that, pretty cool how many issues raw solves
-
What are the best fruits?@Mishutka_47 I think avocados are mostly considered good because of how low carb they are. While this is good, you don't really get a lot out of them. I would say the most useful fruits to have in the diet are melons and pineapples. These things have a thick skin that protects them from pesticides, and they have a very high water content, which makes them useful for hydration. Because they have such high a water content, eating a lot of it by weight isn't as bad carb-wise. When I was eating a ton of watermelon, it made me very vascular. But keep in mind that when you eat straight carbs, it's more crucial to get sunlight to detoxify the high deuterium caused by them. Grounding also helps deal with oxidative stress from the metabolism of glucose and other issues.

Guide for Achieving GOATA Movement 👣@Jack I had this knee click for years (not painful or anything) and it fixed in like 2 weeks of just thinking about my gait. Pretty interesting how things align themselves when you align yourself with nature.
-
Thoughts on waterWell that would be the water treatment chemicals that are pretty toxic. But if you haven't already, I recommend looking at my post on hydration for some options and info https://rawprimal.org/post/444

About the sun@Rabbi It's possibly the best cause on earth
