  • How do I start the diet?
    ruebezahl69R ruebezahl69

A very important thing that i rarely see brought up is to become fat adapted.
I struggled for almost 2 years to get on the diet because if I cut out bread and sugar I would become sluggish and light headed all day and wouldn't be able to function. Up until that point I was drinking soda and eating pasta every day with some meat, so I was heavily carb-adapted.
When carbohydrate-adapted the cells dont have enough mitochondria to generate energy from animal fat (from meat diet as well as autophagy) and have to build hundreds more mitochondria, and it takes a long time. Experts recommend that people slowly wean themselves onto a keto diet over the course of weeks or months to allow the cells to become adapted.
I didn't want to feel sluggish that long so I dry fasted for like two days, felt like death for a week, and got adapted much faster.
I am not recommending anyone do this because it is obviously extremely dangerous to force the body into a fast without preparation.
After being tired and light headed for a week and pushing through it I was starting to gain a lot of energy, i eventually had more energy and than when I was dependent on caffeine.
So if you feel tired and uncomfortable all day for a while it sucks but push through it and each day you will feel better.

  • Alcoholic beverages
    ruebezahl69R ruebezahl69

Hello. I have been experimenting with making alcoholic beverages from various fruits by aging and juicing them. So far I have done raw wine made with grapes. I started with regular grapes I got from the supermarket, cut them into small pieces, put them in jars with a small amount of whey and crushed them up a little. I then let the grapes sit in the cabinet for a bit over a year, then i blended them into a paste and pressed it through cheese cloth to separate the pulp, then poured the juice back in the jar. The finished product was carbonated and smelled heavily of alcohol. It tasted decent but very sour and i did get a slight buzz from the alcohol. After re-opening the jar several times the taste started to become more bitter and overpoweringly sour. I am currently working on a second batch of wine and a hard cider from granny smith apples. I am wondering if anybody else has tried anything similar and if so does anyone know of a quicker method to produce alcohol. Thanks

  • Theory about aajonus
    ruebezahl69R ruebezahl69

There is a lot of debate around the backstory Aajonus gives in his lectures and books regarding how he got into nutrition and created the diet. It is well known that some parts of the story are difficult to believe and seem to be exaggerated.

I've thought extensively about what exactly Aajonus/the Primal Diet is as a phenomenon, and what gave rise to it, and ive come to the conclusion that Aajonus filled the role as a spokesperson for a team of scientists, doctors and biochemists who wanted to reveal the findings of their research to the public anonymously.

This is obviously contrary to what people believe about aajonus but there is a lot of evidence pointing to this theory.

For one, there is no way a struggling actor could conduct and pay for the lab experiments to create and test the diet, and let alone have it actually work. To do this from scratch requires extensive funding and inside knowledge and vocabulary from members of the medical industry who are unsatisfied with the results of mainstream practice and experiment with different methods of healing.

In fact, I think he actually did mention members here and there, just did not provide this context. He brought up Elnora van Winkle, a biochemist he worked with who passed away in the 90s or early 2000s

Aajonus claimed to have gotten into nutrition when he moved to southern California most likely in the early 70s which is where most celebrities live in the US. So I speculate while living in California he became connected with a famous director or another actor, who then connected him with a doctor who was a member of this alliance of researchers. The members were probably high level doctors who celebrities and other wealthy individuals go to.

I speculate they recruited Aajonus as a way to reveal their findings to the public and avoid persecution. We now understand how hostile the mainstream medical industry is towards dissent by what Aajonus went through, especially near the end.

If Aajonus was a DIY researcher and nutritionist with such controversial opinions there is no way he could have made appearances on national television and radio shows, which for the early 2000s was a big deal. This is evidence of Aajonus having higher up connections, which many primal dieters dont deny.

His death also factors in, as it is unclear if he was assassinated or if he faked his death. There isn't much in the way of proof or evidence for either claim seeing as there aren't medical records or even a death certificate. There is no proof that this man even died. Faking one's death would be impossible without the help of a network of powerful individuals, especially with modern technology and government surveillance.

This could have been his retirement from this role, as the targeting was getting worse and they figured that a good amount of info had been forged, so they may have faked his death or "killed" the character of Aajonus, while the human man remained alive in secret.

Sorry for the long post. I dont know if I'll get hate for this theory or not, but if it rains it pours I guess lmao. This is all speculation at the end of the day I am not claiming any of this to be fact, nor do I have inside knowledge on any of this. What do you think

  • Alcoholic beverages
    ruebezahl69R ruebezahl69

@Rabbi I feel like if the fruit is still in its natural state it should be fine. When people cite alcohol as being carcinogenic or causing liver damage they usually are referring to store-bought beer, wine, etc. that are all usually pasteurized, which we are all aware creates glycotoxins such as acrylamides. I haven't found any proof that alcohol itself is chemically the same after pasteurization, especially with knowing that unnatural heat exposure can spell the difference between a food being beneficial and being toxic. If you eat raw fruit in any capacity it will be exposed to bacteria in the gut and ferment as a normal part of digestion. So I see it the same as fermented dairy where the milk is predigested, only here we are talking about a solvent.

@Rabbi im sure that could happen if people drink too much of it. It makes sense that there would be a window of how much would be safe to consume in one sitting to no ill affect, especially if the substance is used to dissolve and presumably dump waste into the bloodstream to be discarded. If we were talking about a cell building nutrient like vitamin A then I dont think there is a consumption "limit" that can be easily reached but if it's a solvent that sets toxins free in the body I agree it should be used sparingly. I personally drink this stuff like once a year if even that

I think aajonus said something about all carbonated waters currently on the market have artificially added carbon, which apparently makes it worse and most brands are sold in plastic bottles. Either way he said gerolsteiner is the best but they dont sell it in glass anymore.

  • Theory about aajonus
    ruebezahl69R ruebezahl69

@Swansven I think his story is allegorical. It details like 5 different timelines that dont line up at all with one another. Im surprised anyone believes the stuff in the story were 100% real events. Like he was sick on his deathbed with cancer then immediately decided to travel around North America on a bicycle? Thats impossible.

And the part where he talks about being autistic in school and finding a girl to copy off of is a dead giveaway if you read it as an allegory. If you are a biochemist you can't effectively teach biochemistry to regular people because it is too technical (autistic) of a subject, so it requires somebody more personable (an actor/spokesperson) to make the information more accessible. This is how I interpreted that.

And yeah it would have consumed his whole life because of the circumstances. He most likely signed some kind of contract and when he disappeared that is when the contract may have expired.

I am not denying that he knew the information well, because in order to be an effective spokesperson you would have to be knowledgeable about the subject. He definitely studied it for decades.

@676 I tried using whipped raw egg and aloe gel as shampoo for a few days to see if i could regrow and/or thicken my hair. It made no difference and I smelled like shrimp all day. Maybe i didn't use good enough quality eggs?

  • Do you think God exists?
    ruebezahl69R ruebezahl69

@ela this is true. The creator does not exist as a "thing" or entity because a thing would have to have been created by something. This means the creator would have to be nothing or nothingness, seeing as all things that exist are a product of creation. If you filter out everything that is classified as a thing and part if creation you are left with a void or nothingness.
