    L LactoseTolerant

(TLDR AT END) Hello, I would like to seek some advice for what to do with my parents. I have known about this movement for about 9 months now. I'm 15 y/o male, and my parents haven't always fed me the healthiest diet, but in general, it was decently high in animal fats, but had too much grains/vegetables/sugar in it.

I've always been fairly smart, and have researched many things on my own such as orthodontics and philosophy. Wanting to maximize my growth period, I have adopted a "inoffensive" kind of diet. Similar to what Paul Saladino eats. I minimize grain consumption, although my parents force me to eat them often, but I find ways to eat as little as possible, and I eat about 1 lb of meat/fish a day.

The problem comes in when my parents argue with me, every day, about the foods I eat. They forced me to eat a bit of couscous tonight at dinner, which contained sunflower oil, soy, and all sorts of garbage. Now, obviously 2 spoonfuls of junk isn't going to turn me into a woman, but the pattern repeats nearly everyday now.

They label my eating habits as "orthorexia" and are trying to take me to a therapist for it. They have said that my diet excludes certain food groups and is unhealthy.

Because of the conflict happening I have now devised a plan to start biking to my local food lion to buy conventional muscle meat from ruminants, or grass fed ground lamb, and eat it on my own, without them being irritated. This would risk having to eat what they feed me as well as raw foods, but would keep the peace and would be easier to do.

TL;DR: If my parents won't let me go all in on this diet, is it better to have some raw meat that is mid quality without them knowing, but still risk having to consume what they feed me, or it it better to try to convince them of aajonus's teachings.
