hey yall, i'm new to the diet, the goatis pipeline brought me to aajonus
my first q is about green juices, what do yall guys think about them? ive drank them for a bit and havent noticed any negative effects. it also does help me with appetite and alkalizing the body, i feel more calm after drinking it
ive also seen some anecdotal resources about raw oxalates not bring as harmful, or harmful at all. didnt find any good studies on this so im pretty confused on this part of the diet.
what's your guys' perspective on them?

I Personally think that we don't need them. They are not appetizing, i don't think people look forward to them or any type of green food usually.
Another thing to look at is there are alot of testimonials of Oxylate toxicity on r/rawprimal on reddit.. Our PH levels are Homeostatic, it's fine.
But this is just my view, It may work for you. who knows.
My conclusion? literally every food aajonus promotes except the juices i give the green flag. Because those are the foods we look forward to

@coastal I don't think it's really useful. It has a lot of antinutrients because plants have a natural defense mechanism, so they don't want to be eaten. That's why they have a lot of toxins that bind to minerals or cause inflammation in your gut.
-
Theyre good. Make sure you read aajonus books.
-
damn, 1/3 of the responses is "trust your body", 1/3 is "juices are bad coz non intuitive" and 1/3 is "juiced are good".
now im even more confused. im legit gonna have to do my own meta analysis on this
@coastal The whole community is lowkey divided on the vegetable juices.

Just try if they work for you, if you don't like them just dont drink them.I personally think that a big part of this diet is also experimenting stuff on your own, and seeing what works the best for you. -

@Elliott87 I know you don't look forward to them. they don't taste good.
-
@Jay i did try carrot juice it was pretty bussin
@liverman12 That's fine and i agree with those. My main argument for @elliott87 is should we consume something we don't like the taste off just because Aajonus says? Go against our senses. I even read Elliot's Topic on this top to bottom & i still say NO because they do not taste good.
It's high IQ to understand every science behind something and then reject it all like a chad because your body is telling you NO.

@Elliott87 Yeah but some people just dont like them, becose of the taste or other reosons

which is kinda stupid to be honest.I cant really understand why everyone was able to get all the raw meat and milk talk, but then they draw the line at raw vegetable juices. -

@liverman12 I mean even milk looks just like some "white liquid" yet it's still good for you. so i cant really see why vegetable juices would be bad just becose they are some "green juice".

@PrimalFingolian also vegetable juice is the only thing (as far as I know) that will deliver enzymes directly to your cells. The only way to replenish your enzyme bank account, lost enzymes from years of cooked foods. This is part of degeneration.
Seriously did yall even read my post
