LA is what we all want out of our systems. It's what's in us because of seed oils, and the thing people always say to do is to do lymphatic baths or hot baths or whatever you call them and to do them frequently, but that's not how it works. The half-life of la in your fat is about 2 years, meaning it takes 4-5 years of eating zero la-dominant fat sources to get it out of your system. Eating the average american diet, your bodyfat is 25% linoleic acid, we want <7%. When you burn adipose tissue (fat), the lionleic acid (and any other acids there) are burned and whatever your new diet is (hopefully stearic acid and oleic acid) will replace it. The other way of doing it is aggressive cuts/bulks constantly to change fat stores and speed up the process, but this can be very damaging metabolically. An argument for the hot baths is that you'll sweat out the fat, but fat is lost through your breath in the form of carbon dioxide but you sweat out water and electrolytes. A more realistic solution is to follow the primal diet and get super fat (35%+ bodyfat but you'll look less than 20% cause healthier fat distribution) and then go on a long cut while eating strictly no plant fats ever except for coconut if you must, meaning no nuts either.
Here is a demonstration of how a massive bulk and cut would get rid of your sed oils, assuming person was on the SAD (which is seed oil heavy) until age of 20.

    Assumptions

    • Starting point (age 20):
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 150 lb (68.0 kg)
    • Body fat: 15%
    • Fat mass: 22.5 lb (10.2 kg)
      After bulk:
    • Weight: 200 lb
    • High-fat animal-based diet (300+ g fat/day)
    • Assume most gained weight is fat plus some muscle.
      After cut:
    • Weight: 158 lb
    • Net muscle gain: 8 lb (conservative estimate due to the diet + maybe some exercise)
      Final fat mass:
    • Lean mass = 127.5 + 8 = 135.5 lb
    • Fat mass = 158 − 135.5 = 22.5 lb
      Fat gained during the bulk:
      If:
    • 50 lb total gained
    • 8 lb is retained muscle
    • About 42 lb (19.1 kg) is fat gained
    • Fat lost during the cut
    • The person returns to the original fat mass, so approximately 42 lb of fat is also lost.
      Fatty acid composition
Typical adipose tissue on a Western diet:
    • Linoleic acid (omega-6 PUFA): ~15–25%
    • Saturated fat: ~20–30%
    • Monounsaturated fat: ~45–55%
      Let's use representative values:
      Initial stored fat:
    • 20% PUFA
    • 25% SFA
    • 55% MUFA
New fat stores while eating a very low-PUFA animal-based diet might look more like:
    • 2–5% PUFA
    • 35–45% SFA
    • 50–60% MUFA
      (which is incredibly ideal)

If you were wondering, mufa is higher than sfa even though our diet is more sfa because sfa converts to mufa

Even further on, getting fat and cutting is such a good way to do it because since pufa-heavy cell membranes are so fluid, they are way more readily available for lipolysis (fat burning) and will clear faster.

    FAT AND CUT IS LAW

So, there. In what would probably be 6 months to a year of a big bulk and a big cut you have successfully gotten the seed oils of out you 4-10x faster than if you maintained weight and did the diet normally. Now, I am not saying that lymphatic baths are bad and serve no purpose, they just will not work for getting rid of pufa.

Wow good post, mirin the effort. But hot baths are the only way to get rid of hardened seed oils, you must melt them out

something that the baths are needed for is the lymph nodes , i have a lot of nodes that are very big and they need heat to melt. I am still getting very fat to be able to handle the 90 minutes.

@LUV you should still do the baths i just don't know of a reason to do them for seed oils just massive bulk and massive cut lol

@LUV they're not stuck? Your body actively utilizes them they're just unideal so you want to gain a bunch of bodyfat on primal (so all your new fat is <6% pufa) and then lose a bunch of fat on primal (to shed all of the old pufa fat) and it works especially well because pufa cells are readily available for lipolysis and will be burned preferentially due to being so liquidy

@Vibrance-ᛉ Adding hydrogen to unsaturated fats reduces the double bonds, which raises the melting point. Therefore, hydrogenation solidifies the oils.
As for the fat-lymph connection, dietary fat is packaged into chylomicrons that enter lymphatic vessels, i.e. dietary fat is absorbed throughj the lymphatic system.

@Vibrance-ᛉ The hot water penetrates the lymph glands and nodes, which melts the fat. And as we know, fat stores toxins, which means that throughout the detoxification process, the toxins leave through the skin.

or like how much seed oils do you detox per 90 minute bath?
is there a unit for that?
