        @Bert the bacteria grows there naturally over time, you don’t need to add anything just make your own

                  @Bert that’s what they use for store bought, i can’t remember exactly but I think store bought contains roughly 5 different cultures of bacteria, where as homemade can contain up to 20, you can make your own starter by letting milk ferment and then using that fermented milk as a starter, but I’ve found it really doesn’t make much difference then just fermenting the whole bottle of milk from fresh

                      @Bert yes I make my own all the time, I’d recommend blending it when it’s done fermenting, it gets snotty bits sometimes and they put me off
