I'm new to the primal diet, and I've been looking at a website, which is a website that Aajonus basically said everything, from his Q&As to symptoms and reliefs and even his books. And I looked at one for my disease, ulcerative colitis, and he said to eat pasta, cooked pasta with tomato puree, and I thought that was quite weird because I thought the whole concept of the primal diet was raw meats and raw dairy and raw fat e.t.c Can anyone advise me on what to do?

@akiyama I also have two autoimmune conditions and currently on Animal based diet. Going to try and have some raw meats soon and then transition fully to primal.

@Rabbi yes I've had raw milk which I love and raw eggs. Also tried having raw liver for 2 weeks then all of a sudden got constant diarrhea but this was 4 months ago and pretty much always have my ribeye rare/blue rare. I might just stick with steak bone broth and pasteurised kefir for now. Then add all the raw foods in a couple months. Honestly the worst situation I'm in 😆 been craving raw dairy so bad.

I have an autoimmune disease called warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia. It’s a condition where my immune system mistakenly attacks my red blood cells, causing them to break down faster than my body can replace them.

As part of my treatment, my parents and doctors decided I should receive rituximab, which is an infusion that depletes B cells. B cells are an important part of the immune system and help fight infections, so this treatment leaves me immunosuppressed.

Because of this, I’ll likely be immunosuppressed for around 3–6 months, which means my body is more vulnerable to infections and I could end up hospitalized more easily than usual.

I wanted to ask for your thoughts:
Is it best for me to avoid raw foods and drinks during this time? Should I stick to only cooked foods, or are some raw products still considered safe while I’m immunosuppressed?

I have two autoimmune diseases: ulcerative colitis (where the immune system attacks the gut) and warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (where the immune system attacks red blood cells). I’ve been looking into different diets and was wondering whether this would be the best approach for me
