Raw grassfed ground beef tastes bland?

First time trying raw grass premium ground beef. Is it common that ground beef has a very mild taste to it? I was surprised by how little flavour it had. It wasn't bad, just quite bland overall.
I don't use salt or seasonings other than egg yolk.
Just wondering if anyone else has found ground beef to taste bland?

for me, it tasted mostly like iron. i did not enjoy it. cuts of beef taste way better.

Personally, just trying it multiple times made me like it a lot even without yolks, but I was not much of a fan the first time I tried it. Now, I crave that irony taste. It isn't a very powerful taste, but I like it.

@Swansven i used to really hate the iron taste, the day after i finished my first detox i woke up craving that iron taste so badly i went to the fridge and started devouring the steak right there in front of the fridge. i think if you are full of toxins it can cloud your taste buds maybe (?)

It's possible. Or it's simply brainwashing that makes you hesitant. Hard to tell

for me its sweet and fatty. it tastes much better than cooked beef. I cant eat cooked beef anymore i eat few spoons and I cant anymore, its so dry.
