Where to Find Reputable Source

where can i find a good source to get fresh high quality meat from? i’m in los angeles and the closest farm that i can buy meat and organs that are safe to eat raw from is a 1 and a half hour drive away from me. it’s called primal pastures. idk if it’s worth driving that much every time. there are some good butchers near me, but idk if i trust them with raw meat. i ate raw liver one time from a butcher and got sick for 2 days. are farmers markets a good idea? i also want to try raw fish and there are tons places that sell sashimi or sushi grade fish, so i can eat it raw no worries. thy already sell raw diary in a lot of health oriented stores in los angeles, but i can’t find a good place for raw meat, eggs, and organs. should i start hunting my own food, since going to all these farms and butchers seems like a hassle and can run up my pockets.

Farmers markets seem to have pretty high quality food, but personally for consistency I would grab organic grass fed ground beef from the store and avoid organs unless you run to the farm and grab them. It seems the filtration organs especially accumulate toxicity and that's likely why you got sick. I would stick to the fish, too, excluding salmon. Even truly wild caught salmon are toxic because of the GMOs. Also, nearly all the sickness I hear about in the raw primal community comes from wild game, likely due to glyphosate exposure. I hypothesize that it would be okay as long as a conventional farm isn't anywhere near. For eggs, I wouldn't emphasize quality nearly as much, especially if you are eating seafood. Haven't heard anything bad about them other than the omega 6-3 ratio being dogshit compared to high quality stuff, but its not that much of an issue with DHA-rich foods in the diet.

i can’t eat store bought meat raw. i want to get into raw meat though. farmers markets can be inconsistent. they don’t always have what i want and they’re only open on weekends. i tried raw organic eggs from the store and i vomitted at night. i buy my organs from the best butcher near me. i want to start buying high quality meat and fish to eat raw, but don’t know where to start. the term “sushi grade” or “sashimi grade” is thrown around a lot at food markets i go to, but idk if i can trust them. what would the best option be?

That's really odd that you got sick. I would go with raw fish, particularly smaller, non-predatory ones that don't accumulate as many heavy metals. I would also ask the butcher questions about the organs if you haven't already. Something like "was this fed only grass?" or "Was this given any antibiotics?" things like that let you know that it's safe to eat raw or in general.
