So about once a week every Friday i'll get a steak & sear it to about rare or medium rare. Delicious.
i'll never be convinced that raw steak is better than being seared on the rarer side, this is my Uber eats for the week lol.

But Man! Does cooked food make me sluggish, lethargic.. like just want to lay down and nap.. kinda worth it tho.

Any of you guys cheat? I know you lurkers are out here.. 😉

@Jay Yh I love a steak cooked in butter, I’ll have one once in a while, but tbh I think I prefer tartare, feels more refreshing

It's cause its warmer than your cold meat or room temp raw meat. Maybe you eat meat that is too cold. It should be room temp inside not only outside. Also if you cook it in fat the surface area will have fat on it which stimulates the tounge first. By these reasons I can understand why people like rare steaks who usually only eat raw meat but if you do it every week it will slow down detox every time you do it (the detox resets every time you do it) which is so unnecessary and easily avoidable if you value that. The frequency of it makes it an issue I think and not so much the ammount cause it's only a steak and it's pretty much rare in the middle of its rare. Just make sure the cooked steak is lean cuz cooked fats are way more problematic. I see cheating on the diet as being in a loyal relationship with a 9/10 girl on the bell curve (in this context a 9/10 diet) and every weekend you go out and flirt with a 6.5/10 girl (cooked meat), and you feel bad afterwards. You probably thought twice just before cooking your steak. I can't even process that logic lol. The last time I ate cooked food I said to myself oh it's just one time I'm gonna be fine and I kinda wanted to throw up afterwards and it tasted really bad, though it wasn't meat. Appeal to cooked steak means something is wrong healthwise but You have been growing up eating like that. really nothing significant will happen if you eat rare steak every week but you will be much better of not doing it. Raw and Rare steaks basically taste the same to me which I eat when family is cooking steaks cause they don't like me eating raw meat🥲

Enjoy the raw milk and get healthy!

@zygomidus It's totally not the case i let my raw meat get to room temp for atleast 3 hours everytime. its just streak medium rare with a crust based in butter & tallow.. I mean I will never be convince a raw streak is better.. but everything else raw for sure.

I appreciate it your advice with detox but personally It doesn't matter. My diet is already 99% better than most people and if I have an orange in January or a cooked steak bi-weekly, its not that deep. I'd rather live a ever so slightly shorter life and being less 'optimal' but being aloud to have more variety. wouldn't you?

PS I dont feel guilty whatsoever & didnt think twice. I'm not gonna be hard on myself cause once again its better than 99% of normies. My intuition tells me i want to eat seared steak more than eat it raw (I suppose it's the smell when its fresh off the pan) and i trust my senses.
