The vegetable juice doesn't really act as sustenance but instead as a tool to alkalinize the blood which he says is useful. The toxins in celery are seemingly minimal and that's what most of it is.

@Swansven Okay that's interesting. Is it more to like specific problems or recommended to everyone?

Nowadays many people suffer from overacidity so vegetable juice alkalinizes the blood without overalkalinizing the intestines or harming them with fiber. Aajonus says that any medications you have taken, the symptoms of the medication you have taken may reappear when you start the diet. This is essentially the body detoxing these compounds out of the body because you have given it the raw fats, vitamins and minerals it needs. When you eat a lot of raw meat and fat, your body is detoxifying these dangerous compounds and as a result your blood is going to become over acidic due to waste compounds. This may cause cravings for fruit and cooked starches. So if you go too long detoxing you might become repulsed by raw meat and this helps restore ability to properly eat raw meat. Celery also has negative carbs meaning drinking it can help people who have been eating too much carbs in the past "detox" that.

I personally don't think its healthy as vegetable juice has a lot of concentrated plant antinutrients which are toxins.
I know Aajonus recommended it.
I want to know your opinion.
@Rabbi pretty sure aajonus said it is only needed for people who have been malnourished. He said if you grew up on a completely raw primal diet then there is never need for vegetable juice or any other or his recipes for healing, such as his nut formula.
