Tommorow i will be buying 10 litres of raw goats milk but i might be afraid to drink it raw because of the fact the goats are not consuming their complete natural diet.
From my knowledge after speaking to the owner she said that the goats are NOT medicated and they have a diet of hay , and grain fed in proportions that were not specified. She also mentioned that the goats do not go outside ( i am unsure whether its only in the winter or summer too) and the milk is priced at £ 3.50 a litre.
If that is indeed a good price i do not know but i would like someone with real life experience to advise me on if its safe to drink or a better route would be to low-temp pasteurize it. -

No problem as the goats eat decently. Good it's not medicated. The pasteurization will only damage the nutrients and microbes.
If you are afraid then drink 0.1 liters or 1 cup and see if you get negative effects in 1-2 hours. If not then drink more. If you get some symptoms then it can also be detox if you don't drink raw milk if you are just starting?
Many people including me drink raw milk like that everyday.

@Zambi It should be good, ask if they are grass fed in the summer. I used to work on a farm with goats and they were fed hay and such in winter but when there was grass thats what they ate, so it could be similar to your farm

yes, the goats diet isn't optimal, but its still some of the best milk you could get (ofc disregarding buffalo, sheep, so on and on milk) definitely worth buying it if you have the large sum of money for it, completely moggs cow milk imo, i drink a liter of it everyday

Let's go!!! Your body is adapted to natural foods. Your body is smart and won't digest the food particles with toxins on them cause the body will recognize it as food (the raw milk in this case) only if it's raw. Drinking grain fed milk is very good, just not perfect. So you'll be fine. I would recommend to wait until its room temp, then lot it rest at room temp for a couple of hours and then drink it so the enzymes and everything becomes active. If your still growing then you should drink I'd say minimum 2L/day. Btw I just found a giga Chad farmer that sells me more raw milk despite the laws in sweden.
