Are cured meats more beneficial than cooked meats? I eat a lot of cured meats, specifically biltong and droëwors.
Do they still have some nutritional benefits even though they are dried?
And does it make a big difference on weather they are seasoned or not? Ive been told that salt and such isn’t beneficial when it’s consumed but maybe ive been misinformed -
They’re made with salt, salt kills many of your cells. Seasoning is all poisonous as well. If they were made without salt, still not good, because dried foods lack digestive enzymes and your body will have to supply its own enzymes.
