My mom has been vegan for the past few years and of course she wanted me to be vegan too since that’s what she classifies as best. In 2022 I actually have fallen for that and been vegan (actually more vegetarian cuz I still ate eggs just no dairy nor meat) for around 2yr but I stopped once I realized that I started being depressed and had low energy. In 2024 I started eating animal products again but it was still very low since I only live with my mom and she’s vegan so we didn’t have much of those in the house. After all this time of ALL my family members trying to convince my mom to let me eat meat, in December 2025 she finally did! And it was the first time in 5 years that I’ve eaten meat in this household without trying to hide it. Now my diet is mostly eggs, dairy and fish, sometimes a tiny fruit rather than just meat, which isn’t ideal because all that is generally a shitty quality (except eggs) but I still feel better than I used to. The reason why I don’t eat meat as much is because my mom isn’t willing to give me money to buy it. I don’t have any pocket money nor a source of income, my dad is in a bad financial position so he can’t buy it for me either. My mom only buys me dairy, eggs I get from my grandma. I’m sad about all the years I’ve wasted not eating animal products, I mostly ate vegetables, fruits and vegan foods to imitate meat. My diet isn’t ideal now, but I feel better than I used to when I was vegetarian, and I sure hope that in the future I’ll be a full carnivore😭

@L204660 great story, and yeah strict vegan parents would be kinda nightmare, my mom was kinda vegetarian also, she used only very small amount of cooked meat and mixed it with pasta and beans and red sauce. similiar foods like that, my dad gave me meat though. but last 4 years I have been eating animal based and last 1 year rawprimal.

I really recommend you to get raw beef liver, get the money anyway you can and go buy it. its the most important thing for your health in my opinion as great ROI.

@Rabbi i had to sacrifice some high meat to stop my crippling depression but everytime in those moments i realise how all this and all the happiness is just an illusion, how little control we have, how it can slip away right out of your hand, it cant be real because if it were, it couldnt perish in the blink of an eye

@Rabbi Satan said, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law." And Jesus said, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. And Jesus said, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
