its funny to see people take olympics so seriously, its should have been just for fun and its still for fun, there is nothing serious about it in reality, they just want to win the meaningless gold medal.
but even if its serious its still funny to me to watch, even little bit. maybe the seriousness is what makes it funny.

It's more than winning, though. For them, they are representing their entire country and also demonstrating the pinnacle of human capability. That is something. I kinda respect it tbh, even though it's ultimately pointless.
