This is an abridged version of the countless details of Aajonus' entire life and death, there's a lot more details left out still that you could read about on the website. That being said, it's still a very long read so feel free to skip along.

Early life of Aajonus

Aajonus was born April 17, 1947 in Denver, Colorado. His birth name was John Richard Swigart. He was the second child of 4.
Since a young age, he was in horrible health. He had many challenges with this in school and struggled with violent family conflicts.
Aajonus' brother was 18 months older than him and would torture him daily for the first 15 years of his life. He would push him on rakes and rusty nails because he was terribly allergic to the tetanus shot.
Aajonus became autistic at 18 months old, after his third tetanus shot. He was also so dyslexic that trying to read gave him vertigo. He would go into autistic stares and his parents would beat him to try and make him stop. He was put in the hospital several times because of his father's beatings.
At the age of 3, Aajonus had fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. His body was in a constant amount of pain that wouldn't go away.
He would never want to get up in the morning. His parents would have to whip him with belts every morning to get him to get out of bed. Some days, he would just lay there while they did this.
He had countless allergies to everything under the sun. Foods, chemicals, insect venom, and poison ivy. When exposed to his allergies, his face would swell up until his eyes and throat closed. They could only be stopped by antibiotics, which further deteriorated his health.
His digestion was getting worse, he kept getting infections, and he would have the flu for 3 to 5 months at a time.
His parents would force him to eat cooked vegetables that made him projectile vomit. He was forced to sit at the table until he finished.
He saw his parents drinking coffee and saw it gave them energy. He would take coffee from the pot at night and it was usually enough to wake him up in the morning.
His sleep was horrible, he was always stressed about the abuse he was incurring.

School

Being incredibly mentally impaired from autism and sleep deprivation, he would always fall asleep in class and get detention. He began smoking during passing periods to keep him awake
He was unable to even grasp the concept of words, so he began to mimic the noises coming from other people.
All he could do in school to improve his grades was cheat. He was completely illiterate and could only copy the letters from the person next to him.
The only subject that he didn't need to cheat on was math. He could solve math problems really fast in his head. He was a genius. The school realized this after testing him.
Near his 12th birthday, he developed peritonitis, an intestinal infection. It was misdiagnosed as appendicitis, and his appendix was removed. He was given many injections every couple of hours for five days
Aajonus later started to overeat and became obese.

1950's

Aajonus visited his grandparents' dairy farm and observed the workers.
They were in excellent health and consumed raw dairy, raw meat, and raw corn.
He saw them fling haybales effortlessly. He noticed as the farmers strayed from the diet they had to use fork lifts in order to move the bales.
At 13 years old, Aajonus was a prediabetic.
Aajonus got his third polio vaccine at 15 years old. From this, he developed angina pectoris and had many heart attacks.
He was taken to the cardiologist and they weren't able to diagnose his angina pectoris that was causing his issues.
He was told that his heart attacks were in his imagination
He was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and started taking insulin

Adult life

He married a kind and sympathetic girl named Mary who was one of the smartest girls in school. They were able to communicate without words.
He would copy phrases from James Dean and Paul Neuman and tried to act like them.
Aajonus was mostly silent though, which she admired.
Aajonus' son, John Jeffery was born when Aajonus was 17.
He was still in school, but he had to support his family. He got a job as a computer programmer and he was excellent at it. He was making $80,000 a year which was 12 times the median income at that time.
The baby was sick most of the time, and the whole family was sleep deprived because of it.
He became an alcoholic in order to sleep at night.
At this point in his life, he still couldn't even spell the word 'the'
At 19, he developed an ulcer. He went to the hospital after vomiting cups of blood and it was diagnosed there.
He left his wife and child and moved to California, continuing his alcoholism.
Aajonus was a test subject in a UCLA experiment with LSD. He was given 720 micrograms in 14 hours and had no reaction to it.
His diet was terrible. All he was able to eat were doughnuts, Rice Krispies, and sugar. He occasionally had a well done steak and eggs.
Doctors gave him Maalox and it absorbed all of the hydrochloric acid in his stomach, making him unable to digest food.
He developed cancer right next to his ulcer, and Aajonus agreed to a vagotomy pyloroplasty, not knowing what the doctor was even saying.
This procedure was the severing of the vagus nerve, which kept him from secreting hydrochloric acid. The doctors told him he should never eat a raw food because the bacteria has a much higher chance of killing him from infection.
Eating cooked meat made him break out all over his body. Someone described him as looking like raw beef.
The entire incision grew a massive tumor. He was given 10 weeks of radiation therapy.
It caused a 'benign' tumor to grow.
The cancer spread all over his body before his 21st birthday.
He developed bone and blood cancer and multiple myeloma within a month.
His teeth were so loose in his gums that biting would cause him to lose a significant amount of blood. This caused him to get two blood transfusions a week.
He was forced to blend all of his foods into liquids. He would blend doughnuts and RC cola or Sprite. He would drink this concoction slowly through a thick straw.
He was in excruciating pain. Any movement would scrape the nerves in between his vertebrae.
He underwent chemotherapy for a short time.
Aajonus developed lymphatic cancer, lymphoma, psoriasis, bursitis, and arthritis.
He was a complete wreck. He couldn't do anything, even lie down on a bed. His only mode of transportation was crawling like a worm on his elbows.

So far, he has 8 'incurable' diseases. He was supposed to die at 21.

The doctor gave Aajonus an estimated 3 weeks to live.
Aajonus refused chemo therapy. He had decided he wanted to die because he was completely crippled.
The doctors wanted to remove all of his teeth, but he refused. He wanted to die with his teeth.
With all of the money he made programming, he decided to stay in his house for his final days.
He would defecate and urinate and vomit all over himself because he just couldn't move.
He couldn't sleep for more than 10 minutes at a time.

Raw carrot juice, milk, and hot tubs

A few workers for hospice volunteered to blend his food at his house.
One of them, 17 year old singer Steve Flanagan, offered aajonus raw carrot juice and raw milk. He showed Aajonus a book about how a woman cured her cancer with raw carrot juice.
He thought it was ridiculous, but he decided to try it. Surprisingly, the drinks were the only things that were palatable to him. He kept drinking them because they tasted good.
He called his uncle and his uncle was astounded by the fact that he could have an intelligent conversation with his previously unintelligible nephew.
Within 10 to 12 days of drinking these liquids, Aajonus was able to reverse his dyslexia and autism. He was finally able to understand language.
Aajonus was still in an incredible amount of pain for the majority of the day.
He tried to drown himself in a hot bath and fell asleep in a 110 degree tub. He was able to fall asleep for 2 hours. He woke up feeling much better.
He began living in his bath tub. He would reheat his water every hour and he noticed substantial changes in his pain levels.
He then got evicted from his house and became an actor.
Over the next 2 years, he became much better.
If Aajonus stopped drinking the raw carrot juice, he noticed his dyslexia returned.

Nutritionist Career

At 23 years old, Aajonus became very interested in nutrition and had Steve take him to the book store and buy some books on nutrition. He had a limited vocabulary and spent about 90% of his time in the dictionary trying to figure out the meaning of the words.
Since he had somewhat recovered from his conditions, people asked him for health advice. He would experiment on them and himself.

Frutarianism

He pushed people into veganism and frutarianism, not knowing the detrimental effects. He had not yet had an interest for studying physiology, so he believed that humans were not carnivores. He thought meat was poisonous.
His raw diet seemed to push his cancer back into remission, but worsened his psoriasis and diabetes.
He joined nutrition classes at several universities, but quit because he recognized the nonsensical nature of them.
He was tutored for 3 and a half years by Bruno Corigliano, LA's top nutritionist. His diet was 70-75% raw foods.
Aajonus noticed the fatter he got, the healthier he became. This differed from Bruno's opinions, so Aajonus went his own way.
He began to explore the horizons of health and ended up learning palm reading and astrology techniques. He was paid well for this.
He began studying iridology in 1969.
He began an entirely raw frutarian diet.

The death of 'Dick'

His uncle had him try a chemical form of psilocybin, which sent him on a trip that made him realize he didn't want to be 'Dick' (Richard) anymore. This trip was a near death experience for him.

Acting career

Aajonus noticed he was really nervous about auditioning and being ridiculed and realized he was over-emotional.
He ended up playing in a few soap operas, including General Hospital One Life to Live
Aajonus was, very ironically, offered a $7.5 million contract to be the Winston man, the face of a tobacco company. He turned this down.

Bicycle trip

At 27, Aajonus wanted to find the answers to health and knew that it wouldn't come from the pharmaceutical industry. He knew that natural beings had innate senses about health and wanted to study them. He took a 2.5 year trip around North America.
Every tribe he visited told him to eat raw meat. He was too scared to try it because of his procedure that severed his vagus nerve.
He figured they just wanted to trick him and kill the white man as revenge.
One of the tribes offered him high meat that he saw everyone eating and didn't know what it was. He eventually tried some. He thought it was plant matter because it was so green with mold. He thought they were lying to him when they told him it was caribou meat.
Despite all of his research, he still was close-minded and believed that veganism was right. He loved animals and thought it was wrong to kill them.
He began to notice symptoms of osteoporosis and didn't realize that his bones were demineralized.
His fascination with unheated honey began, in Central America he was informed by a military medical doctor that wounds healed 3-5 times faster with unheated honey applied to them. Aajonus confirmed this himself.

Aajonus Vonderplanitz begins

He was doing reading exercises with children, when the word Aajonus was pronounced by the children trying to read his name. He liked the sound of it, and so this is why he changed his name.
He changed his last name to Vonderplanitz because he claimed that that was the name of his russian ancestors.

Aajonus' rebirth

Aajonus' illnesses resurged and he was once again in an excruciating amount of pain.
The same diet that helped his illnesses was now contributing to them.
He once again, decided to end his life. He began to fast to prepare for his death. He went to an old Native American burial site. He was prepared to wait 60 days to starve to death.
At the burial site, there were 11 coyotes. After 10-12 days, they brought him a freshly killed jackrabbit. It was laying there, ripped open.
Aajonus had remembered something his uncle had told him and his cousins that eating undercooked rabbit meat would give you a painful death within 2 days. Remembering this, he began eating the meat. This was his first time eating meat in 6.5 years. He started to vomit, but knew he had to keep it down. He ate a few pounds of it, and the coyotes ate the rest and left.
He thought he was going to die because he felt a euphoric feeling similar to how he felt many times before death. He went to his sleeping bag, expecting to die soon.
Instead, he woke up, having the first completely restful sleep of his life.
For three days, he had energy like he had never experienced before. His pain had reduced 60%. This caused him to realize that the tribes weren't lying when they said that raw meat was the answer to his problems.
He started eating raw meat almost daily. He began hunting and eating anything he could capture.
He was able to use his bicycle again because his strength had returned.
He went to a farm, where he exchanged his work for farm foods.
He drank a gallon of raw milk a day and half a pound of raw butter a day.
He gained 150 pounds and he noticed his frame developed. He had strength like never before in his life.
He went back to LA to tell everyone his experiences and he was laughed at, even though people who listened to his advice saw great improvement.
His success rates of curing diseases with his advice eventually reached 85% with all of his knowledge he had acquired.
With more and more experiment, he realized that supplements were toxic.
Aajonus appeared on a radio show with Ida Horonof exposing the swine flu hoax.

Deadly Mushroom

Aajonus was walking at the beach with his girlfriend at the time.
There were beautiful mushrooms growing in someone's yard. Aajonus identified it as non-toxic and they ate it. His girlfriend ended up vomiting, but Aajonus didn't. He had ended up ingesting 15 times the lethal dose of a death cap mushroom.
Aajonus forced himself to eat 2 pounds of butter daily to protect his liver.
Every symptom Aajonus had ever had returned worse than ever before. Nobody had ever been recorded to survive from 1/15th of the dose that Aajonus ate. He survived but the pain was continuous for a month.

The breakthrough

Aajonus ramped up his meat consumption, eating raw meat up to twice a day. His pain improved significantly and his diabetes symptoms were gone. He says by this point, the primal diet was about 70% complete.
He still underestimated the damage that these high carbohydrate fruits he was eating were doing to him.
He reported that substantially reducing his fruit consumption improved his clarity, focus, and composure. He tested this on other people and reported the same.
He still craved the fruits. He began juicing raw vegetables which was a low sugar option.

Aajonus' CO2 discovery

Aajonus was incredibly depressed 3.5 years after his mushroom incident and he wanted to end his life in a non-polluting way. He taped a plastic bag around his head and went to sleep. He woke up feeling great and his depression was gone. He supposed that carbon dioxide can be helpful for the body when you're oversaturated with oxygen.

Saving Jeff

Aajonus' son Jeff had a life-threatening car accident at the age of 22.
4/5 of his brain was damaged after being flung out of the windshield. It was said that he would never wake up out of the coma.
Aajonus heard about his condition and went to help him. He fed him a mixture of half unheated honey and half raw unsalted butter. Jeff woke up from the coma within 24 hours.
Aajonus continued to feed him raw foods. Once awake, he gave him raw ground beef and fish mixed with honey. Jeff was out of intensive care in 12 days.
Jeff ended up finishing college, despite the doctors' claims that he would never be the same again.

Saving his mother

His mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.
She was given many antibiotics and had trouble eating. It seemed like she was on her death bed.
Aajonus made her a papaya custard. This helped her gain weight. It took her 6 months to recover while eating this and low quality cooked foods.

Teaching classes

Aajonus began teaching classes in 1998
He taught a class on iridology, but noticed that only about half of the participants had the talent requried.
He published a book and began doing QnAs for people with questions about it.

Government opposition

Aajonus began to oppose the government more and more and leaned further into 'conspiracy theories' rather than nutrition stances.

Forced injections

Aajonus claims he was forcefully abducted from a hotel in the Philippines while he was sleeping.
He woke up and saw men in secret service attire and they were injecting him with syringes in his shoulder. They looked surprised that he was awake and they put an odorless cloth on his face and he was instantly unconscious.
He woke up extremely sick but thought it was a bad dream. He looked and saw three large lumps in his arm with needle holes. He suspected he was injected with 3 doses of the swine flu.
He immediately went to go get a shark or stingray so that he could treat his body with ammonia. He chopped it to pieces and managed to get it down and it saved him. He stopped passing out.
He ate a lot of unsalted cheese and clay to remove as many toxins as possible.
He noticed he lost muscle mass and aged. His iris showed new signs of toxicity.

Aajonus' death

During the last year of his life, Aajonus was once again ill and used a cane to get around. It seems that he leaned on railing for a balcony and ended up falling through, severely injuring his back. In the hospital in Thailand, he took charge in caring for himself. He only allowed them to do one X-ray, refused operation, and allowed pain killers.
August 27th, 2013, Aajonus died. It seems he died from the effects of internal bleeding.
There is a lot of mystery behind Aajonus' death. When his girlfriend left, he went into a coma shortly after.
The autopsies and pictures of his bodies were hidden. Some people have reported to have seen someone who looked just like him but with an altered face. Some people believe he staged his death. What do you think?
