Life's Actual Purpose
-
People struggle to find a purpose in their lives. I don't wonder why this is.
-
They think that humans used to be animals
-
That we are different
We are not special.
-
No matter how smart we are, we are bound by our biology.
-
That's why anyone is able to experience anything. It's not the curse that people perceive it to be, it's the opposite.
-
That's why we do everything that is beautiful, like having kids, spending time in nature, being happy, expressing ourselves.
-
It's only beautiful because of our biology.
The farther away you move from what's natural, the more suffering will be present in your life.
-
Working in a tall office building for 8 hours of your day
-
Your entire purpose is to create shareholder value, and you have such a nothing-job that you wonder if you are even doing that.
-
There's no impact. Nothing you do carries any authority in your life.
-
This is the most degrading thing you can do to a natural being. Being a living thing means governing yourself.
-
Well, at least you get a lot of money, right?
If you work an office job, you probably don't understand that the best things in life are free or the cheapest. You don't understand that life is about prioritizing:
-
Looking for a truly suitable mate willing to have your children
-
Building security for your future family
-
Access to nutrients
-
Being able to spend time in nature
-
Genuine connections with other people
-
Being able to do exactly what you want, exactly when you want to do it
-
These things allow you to live your life, as opposed to being a zombie.
Everything that truly makes you happy can be conflated into one word: Freedom.
-
Does money matter? Yes, of course it does. Without money, you would likely have to live completely cut off from the system.
-
What people don't understand is this: Money is simply a tool to buy your freedom. It's nothing more.
-
If you sit at a time-waste job you are trading your freedom for money. You likely aren't doing what you want to do at all
-
You should instead trade your money for freedom, because money does not make you happy. Freedom does. Live frugally and without many commitments
-
Does your Netflix subscription make you happy? Does it provide you with substance in your life? No, it doesn't. It's depriving you of freedom.
They've tried at every step of the way to brainwash you into believing that your life should be entirely centered around the dollar bill, and nothing else.
-
Although secondarily, they say to consider picking a path you may tolerate better.
-
That's why many kids, on their own accord, always wanted to be youtubers or artists. They have an innate drive to create and put it out into the world. They probably also see the state their parents are in, and know they don't want to be in that situation. They try to chose freedom.
-
Of course, they get their hopes shut down by the system immediately.
Any restraints on your life need to be lifted for you to be happy
- Your job shouldn't restrict your freedom
- You should somewhat enjoy doing your job
- It should be outside
- Your living expenses should be low, so that you aren't burdened by them
- You need to look into ways you could support a family and look for ways of finding a proper woman that understands you
When these conditions are met, you're on track to living a happy and meaningful life
