    Just was reminded that making fire with just friction before we had any easy fire making tools like magnifying glasses or flint and steel is the most time consuming and frustrating thing ever. I get that if you grow up doing it, it comes easier but it's still an enormous time and effort sink to destroy food and make it taste worse.

    Tldr, of course traditionally we would eat raw meat, fresh from the kill or slaughter.

      Yes they make it seem as if we’ve always cooked meat. As if we’re not the only predator on earth that does that. And look at us now 😅
