@RuskinPrimal There is no difference between raw and pasteurized butter when it comes to reducing friction on a surface. So it doesn't matter what kind of butter u use aslong as it is applied on a surface where u need to reduce friciton. If you wanna eat butter it should be raw.

@RuskinPrimal Yeah I mean this is lube, not nutrition. Raw butter is beneficial as food because it has more bioavailable nutrients, bacteria, no toxins from heating, not realistic benefit for as lube compared to pasteurized butter.
Beef tallow could be good lube also.

@Rabbi So if you use butter for lube it's fine if it's pasteurized but raw is ideal is what you are saying?

@Rabbi would you say it's more 'ideal' to only drink butter from lube as raw is alot more expensive and hard to source in alot of country's.
if you were only to trying get your fat macros in let say, because the lube is a hack but also if you are not absorbing the butter you may aswell get pasture

@Jay The pasteurized butters fat is damaged from heat. Its not complete.
But yeah you will get a good amount of fat from pasteurized butter still as the body breaks them to smaller fatty acids but lack enzymes.
Simply said its just worse, ofc you can do it but rawprimal is meant to be the best so it could be expensive.
