Is there any issue with eating raw pork, I get mine from a farm and have eaten it a couple times and found it to taste much better than raw beef - not that I find raw beef unappealing. I rarely see people eating raw pork and apparently it's far riskier than consuming raw beef. Just wondering if anyone here eats it and can advise on its safety.

Listen to how you feel eating it. If you feel good eating it then the pork is safe. If it's mostly grain fed and/or vaccinated(non negotiable, avoid at all costs) it's better to reduce your pork intake. It's mainly the quality of the fat that's important cause toxins are stored in organs and fat so a good source for these is a must. A good and reliable fat source to stick to is very important long term for rebuilding, strength and structure and detox. Fat is the main focus. You don't really have to worry about the meat except if it's injected

. But choose a good fat source and your like 90+ percent optimal. You can eat lamb fat if you can find. Raw butter is the best for beginners as its easy to digest. -
Thanks, the pork was fairly expensive so I hope that its not grain fed but I guess price isn't really that reliable of an indicator on its quality. I never really thought of eating raw butter but I know where to get it from near me, how often should I eat so I know how much to buy when I next go to the farm.

Ok so you can get raw butter that's amazing and arguably the best fat for beginners due to the easier digestion and lubrication. I mean having a good fat source is essential. Ruminant animal fat is a cheaper option but it doesn't last long in the fridge and my butcher doesn't have it fresh everytime I come, it's not necessarily worse than fresh it's just not nice tasting. Butter will stay fresh for a very long time and it won't taste bad as it ages unlike animal fat. You could have butter as your main fat source. Ideally include some bone marrow also(has to be unfrozen and perfectly raised). Buy as much of it as you want count how much you wanna eat and stock up for like 1-2 weeks depending on how often you come. You can have butter as your only fat source btw.
