School is not natural or healthy for humans. We instinctively resist it for the same reason we resist modern work: it conditions people to wake up early, suppress autonomy, and exchange time and energy for the benefit of institutions and corporations. The structure rewards compliance, repetition, and productivity over curiosity, self-direction, and real skill development. The fact that nearly everybody dreads waking up for school or work isn’t failure of oneself, it’s a biological signal that the system is misaligned with human nature. We’re trained to tolerate it, not because it’s good, but because it sustains an economic model that depends on obedient labor. We're slaves.
