@Rabbi Yea I'd say that magic mushrooms were particularly naturally abundant in all areas that humans existed so it's likely that they were the most prevalent source.

@love i wont say i believe evolution 100% true but why biology connects so perfectly to the evolutionary theory then?

@Rabbi you can make up a thousand theories which seems to make perfect sense at first, how about the aquatic ape theory: https://files.catbox.moe/50px43.png

@love I don't like that theory, very bad actually (aquatic ape)

              creation is also a theory.

I think a largely undisclosed part of our evolution was psychedelic drugs. These opened our minds and made us creative. They likely greatly contributed to our creativity in the art of hunting (traps, bows, ect.) and allowed us more access to raw fats that supported further brain growth and adaptations for making things, because humans that made more things were able to survive more often. We ended up dominating using our inventions and we're here today, essentially communicating telepathically through electrons. Crazy stuff.

@Swansven I disagree psychedelics are defensive mechanisms and they are designed to kill you in nature. Any early human that took mushrooms would’ve died.

@themanwhosleeps he means taking small amounts like microdosing, that will enhance senses

not like it will always lead to death by predator killing if its done in like safe place like they probably did in caves or whatever and other people were defending the place who had normal brain function

@themanwhosleeps Any amount found in nature would be a microdose since they aren't dried, they are 80% water in nature and are few and far in between. You wouldn't die and lose your mind, it would likely have a nootropic effect.

Psychedelics were a trait used to deter bugs from consuming them. The difference the complexity of our brains and our size.
