How does hunting work?

Goatis talks about throwing, am I supposed to grab a rock, sneak up on some animal and throw that rock at 5000km/h at the animals head or what ?

@love I have almost done it once, i saw a big bird in forest and lurked behind him for 15 minutes with a rock while the bird was on ground, the bird was so stupid it couldnt hear me even from close. but yeah its possible, and could be fun.

@love no, just natural way but you have to be somewhat close and take time to aim

@rabbi how can i know wether i am a good thrower? how far should a good thrower be able to throw? how fast?

@love its not about the speed really but finding a good sized rock and being able to lurk and suprise the bird. if you throw from behind it only needs to be somewhat fast and hit it ofc.

@love probably yea, i don’t see any other option that people used to do. Maybe making traps of something and then killing the animal? Idk but I lowk would like to try that way of hunting
