idea why fasting causes short term benefits even though its overall unhealthy long-term.

    idea that is somewhat logical.

    because you consume your own raw fat and raw meat when fasting.

    that might cause you overall feel good or better short-term but worse long-term, your body ate yourself (your own fat and muscle), this is called autophagy.

    You get a temporary "high" from the clean internal raw nutrients being mobilized – similar to eating raw meat or raw fat in large amounts.

    Long-term it's destructive. Your body is literally eating itself to survive. You deplete irreplaceable stores of raw fat, enzymes, vitamins, and structural proteins faster than you can rebuild them. Once the easy reserves are gone, you start breaking down vital organs, glands, and brain tissue.

    For sustained healing and rebuilding, you must constantly supply external raw fat and raw meat from animals.

    We want to live!

      @Rabbi recently somebody won a novel prize because of their research in the "best" way for the body to heal, they proved that not eating will cause the body to eat its own harmful cells. so once most of your harmful bodily cells are gone, i assume that the body would begin eating its beneficial ones, which is why fasting can be beneficial short term but damaging long term.

        @devlin hmm interesting idea, but if your body is healthy it will clear the harmful cells without fasting.

        maybe it could helpful, but what is the limit where it gets damaging?

          @devlin Autophagy is constantly in use if you are in a ketogentic state. Therefore if you are on a raw meat diet you can enjoy the benefits of autophagy without the drawbacks(healthy cell destruction).
