I don't think there is really a consensus on what type of music is "best". Whatever makes you feel happy, motivated, and releases oxytocin is generally considered good.
You certainly do not want to be listening to "sad" music, for it is contrary to the whole concept of listening to music.Aristotle, Ayn, Aajonus.
