Why goats voluntarily lick salt if the salt is toxic?

A tiny bit of good sourced salt wont cause necrosis & destroy all your cells like that lol. If you are eating fully raw you don't need it but no one is fully raw & we like to cook our meat time to time.. and salt works with cooked meat ofcourse
