They're calculated in thermal combustion engines while our stomachs are acidic dissolvers. While trying to gain weight on primal, I eat at least 4000 calories a day. That's supposed to have me gaining about 2 pounds a week. I wish I could gain 2 pounds a week. In reality I gain maybe half a pound a week and I have to be constantly eating and it's honestly exhausting to eat so much. Raw foods will not make you fat. Even eating a load of raw dairy everyday will make me gain weight but my body stays looking fit and healthy. I get bigger and stronger but not fat

Tracking calories is a mental illness. You're legitimately imagining a number and letting yourself eat/not eat according to the imaginary number. Just eat more food when you want to gain mass or eat less when you want to lose. Gaining fat on the primal diet works different to normie diet anyway.
