<![CDATA[I have familial hypercholesterolemia]]>So my cholestorol is genetically ultra high (from my mom and her dad) with my total being at 450 (but my triglycerides are golden and my hdl is godly since starting pd) and it reduces lifespan by 15-30 years and like a 10x increase in heart disease risk and 90% will experience a heart attack and i was wondering how these things happen if cholesterol is so good for you and what should I do if i should do anything.

Im gonna have a doctor's appointment in 30 minutes I want to be prepared with what to say (Im very young and my levels are very significant for anybody letalone somebody my age)

Im not worried at all about my condition I just want to wipe the floor with this doctor who has previously told me to eat margarine and limit animal foods to something ridiculous

The doctor gave me a list of foods to eat and foods to avoid it was all bs probably made in the 1970s like use margarine or limit eggs to 3 per week and no red meat. She looks fucking horribly unhealthy and has been taking stains since 18
