Häagen-dazs contains pasteurized dairy. We all know by now pasteurizing destroys enzymes and alters proteins. It also contains refined sugars, which causes blood sugar spikes. We should avoid refined sugars as much as possible. Häagen-dazs does not even contain only 5 ingredients, because they still use refined flour, seed oils and other processed ingredients for their flavouring. And it is very cold food of course, which slows digestion.
