I swear they will start looking super healthy and having tons of energy running around. Make sure you give all chickens an equal amount cuz these unbrainwashed birds they will fight for these kinds of foods. Usually the dominant chicken will try to get everything. So yeah they hunt for insects in the forest and garden and chill if they want to obviously. I give them spring water and then some raw primal foods. These eggs are so good with a deep orange yolk better than any egg I have found.

I think you can from day one. Naturally the parents would feed the chicks insects and worms from the beginning which is basically meat.

They def got high from it lol. It’s also good for their gut health. Do you give them fermented dairy too? I don’t know if I can bc birds obviously don’t get milk naturally.
